How to Clean and Maintain your Ceramic Tiles (and Porcelain Tiles)
Porcelain or Homogenous tiles are generally made by the dust pressed method from porcelain clays. This method allows for a denser and more durable tile. As well, the finish is a finer grained and smoother with sharply formed faces. This makes it extremely beautiful. Glazed porcelain tiles are much harder and are more wear and damage resistant than non-porcelain ceramic tiles.
Full body porcelain tiles are also called Homogenous tiles. Homogenous tiles have the same color and pattern through the entire thickness of the tile (hence the name homogenous). This makes them extremely resistant to wear and tear and are suitable for almost any application.
